BERNDES INTRODUCES TRADITION INDUCTION

Posted by Whitney Bashaw on

In 2016, Berndes Tradition, the cookware with the wooden handles, celebrated 40 years. In 2017, you can now have this same cookware with induction compatibility.

It was revolutionary in the German kitchen: the introduction of the first non-stick frying pan made of cast aluminum. In 1976, Berndes – based in the Sauerland region of Germany – brought the original under the name Bonanza on the market. This pan is known as Tradition in the United States. This new pan was lighter than its heavy predecessors (made from cast iron) and provided the opportunity of cooking fat-free and healthier. Matt Berney, Director of Sales, added, "Tradition Induction ensures the original Berndes non-stick coated cast aluminum cookware line is capable of cooking on all types of ranges. "

Tradition Induction also has a slight update with the hand-turned wooden handle from Sauerland Ash being slightly modernized.

Berndes Tradition Induction will be introduced at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago, March 18-21, 2017, South Building Booth S3624 and is available late Spring 2017.
